1960: Govind in Bombay

Character Sketch

Govind plays a struggling musician who is trying to enter the film industry. Govind does not have too much flair and his dressing style is more understated. He is aware of what the film industry was in those days so he takes some inspiration from the 60s icons.

Styling

We people from the fashion industry love the 60s and the trends that came out from the 60s. The things that are considered fashion today were actually correct clothing for the time that they were in. If you dont wear a hat when you get out of the house then you are naked. It is a very proper and formal era. Suspenders, hats, pleated pants and slightly higher waist pants are a big trend that came from the 60s. Govind is somebody who wants to make an impact without trying. He has a very unique demeanor about him and his clothes fit into his demeanor.

Colour palette

The colours we have used are basic warmer tones and fashion colours from the 60s. We have used colours like dark brown, khaki, olive, white, black and a lot of maroon.
