So in this category we salute the Lyricists who wrote fantastic songs in 2009.<BR><BR><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>The winner is a lyricist who has made a special place for himself in the music industry after Jab We Met. Its the one and only Irshad Kamil. He has written most of the songs for Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani but has won your votes and the award for the heart-wrenching Tu Jaane Na. <BR><BR><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>Bollywood Hungama spoke to him and he was thrilled to know that both his songs are in the Top 5. He thanked his fans and said that Tu Jaane Na was a song very close to his heart and feels that that the song represents a situation that all of us have been through at least once in our lives. He also admitted that Pritam and he were more than sure that this song will work. <BR><BR><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>Mr.Taurani (MD-Tips) mentions that he admires Irshad Kamils hard-work since they were never satisfied and he had to write and re-write the songs several times. <BR><BR><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>The first runner-up on the other hand is Swanand Kirkire for Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh (3 Idiots) - a song that haunts you for long after you have seen the film. <BR><BR><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>The second runner-up is Ashish Pandit, who wrote Tera Hone Laga Hoon (Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani)</span>
