Coolie: Shruti Haasan resumes shooting in Vizag for Rajnikanth starrer; shares sneak peek on social media

Lokesh Kanagaraj recently shared excitement as he has jumped into another star studded affair with Coolie. Marking his debut collaboration with Rajinikanth, the film also features Shruti Haasan, daughter of another megastar Kamal Haasan, and fans can’t wait to see how their onscreen presence together unfolds. Meanwhile, Shruti has been teasing fans by sharing sneak peek into the sets of the film and now we hear that the actress is back to complete another schedule of the same in Vizag.

We heard that Shruti Haasan has now resumed shooting for her much-anticipated film Coolie. While the makers have unveiled the first look of the actress on social media by introducing her as Preethi and her photo featuring Haasan holding a shovel has garnered ample attention. Although the details of her character are kept under wraps, it is being said that she plays a pivotal role in the storyline. Now, adding further to the excitement, Shruti took to her Instagram story to express her enthusiasm for being back on the set of the Coolie. Sharing an image of her in a casual tee and glasses, Shruti wrote, “Work Mode #Coolie,” on her Instagram story, revealing that she has returned to Vizag to complete the schedule of the Rajinikanth starrer.

 

 

Apart from Shruti Haasan and Rajinikanth, the film boasts of an ensemble star cast including Telugu superstar Nagarjuna playing a key role. While it is written by Lokesh Kanagaraj along with Chandru Anbazhagan, the cinematography is handled by Girish Gangadharan, the editing is done by Philomin Raj, music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and the stunts are coordinated by Anbariv. Produced under the banner Sun Pictures, the makers are planning to release the film in 2025 in multiple languages.
