Joju George injured during filming of Mani Ratnam's Thug Life

Malayalam actor Joju George suffered a foot fracture while filming a high-octane helicopter stunt sequence for Mani Ratnam's highly anticipated film Thug Life. Reports reveal the incident occurred in Puducherry, and George was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Doctors diagnosed a fracture in his left foot and immobilized it with a cast.

Following medical attention, George returned to Kochi to recuperate. This injury necessitates several weeks of rest, causing a delay in his filming schedule. Production on Thug Life, however, will continue as planned, despite this setback. The film boasts a star-studded cast featuring Kamal Haasan, and a reunion with director Mani Ratnam after a significant hiatus. According to several reports, news of George's injury has surfaced alongside a viral image of him using a walking stick at the Kochi airport.

 

 

 

Audiences eagerly await the collaboration between Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan, reviving their partnership after several decades. The film boasts the musical genius of A.R. Rahman and also features Silambarasan in a pivotal role.
