The launch is expected within the next month, strategically positioned around the Muharram period in July, a prime release window in India. But the excitement doesn't stop there. Shankar and Haasan seem to be planning a multi-pronged attack to position Indian 2 (also known as Bharateeyudu 2 in Telugu and Hindustani 2 in Hindi) as the biggest cinematic event of the year.

 

Moviegoers can expect a glimpse of Indian 3 along with Indian 2. A crisp theatrical trailer for the third installment will be attached to the end credits of Indian 2, further amplifying the anticipation for the franchise's finale. The source also hints at a potential release date announcement for Indian 3 during the Indian 2 promotions.

 

This strategy is particularly intriguing as Indian (1997), the sequel to the 1996 original, concluded with a cliffhanger.
