Kamal Haasan shares a heartfelt message as he commemorates Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26

Tamil superstar turned politician Kamal Haasan has always voiced his support towards Indian citizens and has shared his opinions uninhibitedly. Recently, as many celebrities got together to honor the sacrifices made by Indian soldier and celebrate the victory of the country during the Kargil War, Kamal too joined the bandwagon and took to social media to share his message.

The Tamil superstar went on to share a heartfelt message through a video clip where he is seen talking about Indian soldiers and showcasing his pride over the immense bravery they displayed during the 1999 Kargil War between India and Pakistan. Taking to the social media platform X, aka Twitter, and captioning the video saying, “To each and every Indian soldier, Pranam. Today, on Kargil Vijay Divas, I take a moment to pay homage to the finest warriors in the world—the Indian Army soldiers. Your bravery knows no bounds.” He went on to speak about soldiers who made the country proud with their bravery as he continued, “Your sacrifices echo through time. The names of Captain Vikram Batra, Captain Manoj Pandey, and Rifleman Sanjay Kumar will be remembered by every child born in India for generations to come. You are the guardians of our land, ensuring that each new day dawns on a secure motherland.”

 

He further shared, “Every Indian owes you a debt that can never truly be repaid. Your selflessness and devotion in leaving behind your families to protect a billion fellow Indians speak volumes. You are not just soldiers; you embody courage, epitomize valor, and represent the very best of India.” “On this Kargil Vijay Divas, I bow to you, the Indian soldier, and salute you. Jai Hind,” he concluded.

 

 

Kamal Haasan is producing a film on Indian Army based on true events

 

Under his banner RaajKamal Films International, Kamal Haasan is currently producing the Sivakarthikeyan starrer Amaran which is based on the late Indian Army officer Major Mukund Varadharajan, who was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his actions during a counterterrorism operation while on deputation to the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion in Jammu and Kashmir. The film, also starring Sai Pallavi, is expected to be released on October 31.
