Keerthy Suresh to take a pay cut of up to 30 % in future projects
National Award Winning actress Keerthy Suresh has become the first female actress of South cinema to announce that she will take pay of 20 % to 30 % for any of the projects she signs in the future. The actress has taken the decision keeping in mind the losses incurred by film producers during the lockdown.
Keerthy Suresh was honoured with the National Award for the best actress in 2019 for her performance in the Telugu film Mahanati. Currently, the actress is gearing up for the release of her upcoming Tamil thriller Penguin, which will be released on Amazon Prime Video this week.
Penguin is the story of a mother who would go to any extent to protect her child. It is one of the most awaited upcoming mystery thriller films which is written and directed by Eashvar Karthic in his directorial debut. The film is produced by Karthik Subbaraj under his banner Stone Bench Films and is also produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Sudhan Sundaram, and Jayaram under Passion Studios.
