Mammootty greets fans on the day of his birthday along with Dulquer Salmaan

Known as one of the biggest megastars and legendary actors of Malayalam Cinema, Mammootty, who continues to achieve stardom even today with his films, turned 72 on September 7. Needless to say, it was a special day for the superstar and his entire family including son Dulquer Salmaan were seen celebrating the special day at their place. Among many wishes from friends, family, and loved ones, Mammukka decided to also meet his fans on the occasion and greeted them from his residence.

In a recent video which was posted online, Mammootty is seen responding to the love showered by his fans, as he came out of his bungalow to greet them. He waved at them and responded to their birthday wishes and during the same, he was also accompanied by popular actor and his son Dulquer Salmaan. The latter too came ahead and greeted the fans, as they cheered loudly for the Ustad Hotel star too.

 

 

Speaking about his birthday, Mammootty received a lot of love from the industry insiders, where many popular actors from the fraternity shared their wishes for the megastar including Mohanlal, Tovino Thomas, Mukesh, Suresh Gopi, among others. On the other hand, son Dulquer Salmaan too penned a note saying, “When I was a boy you were the man I wanted to become. When I first stood in front of the camera you were the actor I wanted to become. When I became a father you were everything I wanted to be. I hope one day I become even half of who you are Pa ! Wishing you the happiest birthday. May you always continue to awe, entertain and inspire the world in ways only you can.”

 

 

On the work front, Mammootty is gearing up for the release of the crime action-drama Kannur Squad which is slated for release on September 28. Apart from that, the actor has a host of films and productions in the pipeline, including the pan Indian epic drama Bramayugam.
