Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer NBK108 gets its title; film named as Bhagavanth Kesari

Nandamuri Balakrishna and filmmaker director Anil Ravipudi along with successful producers Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi of Shine Screens are currently gearing up for the release of their next. The film, which was being referred to as NBK108, has now got a powerful title called Bhagavanth Kesari.

The film will feature Nandamuri Balakrishna in and as Bhagavanth Kesari. As for the storyline, it is expected to be a first-of-its-kind actioner and the caption ‘I Don’t Care’ is expected to indicate the unrestrained attitude of the leading man. In the announcement poster, the title features the State Emblem of India (the Lion Capital of Ashoka) interleaved in it. Coming to the hero Balakrishna, he is seen wearing a brown colour kurta, formal pants with a stole around his neck along with sporting a salt-and-pepper look. Balakrishna features in an action packed avatar as he poses with a deadly weapon. From what we hear, the film will be a treat for action lovers as it is expected to feature some huge stunt sequences.

 

 

A source close to the film opened up about it saying, “Anil Ravipudi wanted to present Balakrishna in a never-seen-before get-up and character in the movie. Like the title, he also wanted the poster to grab our attention. The producers will be opting for vigorous promotions and they even unveiled the title poster in a unique manner. 108 hoardings of title posters were installed in 108 locations. That’s not all. There are other surprises in store for Balakrishna’s birthday, June 10th.”

 

With Kajal Aggarwal playing the female lead in the movie, Sreeleela too will be seen in a crucial role in NBK108. Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal is making his Tollywood debut with the movie. S Thaman is composing the music for the film, whereas C Ram Prasad takes care of cinematography. Tammi Raju is the editor and Rajeevan is the production designer. V Venkat will choreograph the action part.

 

The shoot is presently underway in Hyderabad and Bhagavanth Kesari is scheduled for its theatrical release for Vijayadasami aka Dussehra.
