Nivin Pauly starrer Padavettu becomes the first trailer to be launched at the Indian Super League

Readers would be aware that Nivin Pauly has always been special to Indian Super League (ISL) and Kerala Blasters. The actor, who has been the ambassador for the soccer team during the inaugural ISL season, made this season even more special by giving a small treat to his fans. On Friday, at this season's first match, Nivin unveiled the trailer of his upcoming film Padavettu making it the first movie to be launched at the ISL venue.

Nivin Pauly will be seen as the leading man in Padavettu which is a high octane action thriller set against the backdrop of a small town as an oppressed section in a community decides to revolt against the system. Speaking about the trailer launch, a source close to the actor said, “With the film’s trailer being launched at ISL, Navin has gone to become a part of soccer history. The movie's trailer was flashed on the giant screen in the stadium. And it roared and soared as Nivin and his band of actors presented themselves before a crowd of 30,000 people."

 

 

The source added, "The trailer launch was a real treat for his fans and well-wishers. Padavettu is produced by Saregama in association with Sunny Wayne Productions and directed by Liju Krishna. The film also stars Aditi Balan, Shammi Thilakan, Shine Tom Chacko, Indrans, among others. While the music is composed by Govind Vasantha, the lyrics are written by Anwar Ali. The stunts are directed by Dinesh Subbarayan. It is slated to hit the silver screens on October 21, 2022.
