Samantha Ruth Prabhu calls last six months “hardest” in cryptic post after announcing one-year break

With back-to-back releases, South sensation Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been constantly in the headlines lately. Ahead of the release of her two upcoming projects, it is reported that the actress is all set to take a year-long break to prioritise her health after Kushi and Citadel India. Amid this, Samantha delighted fans with a selfie and a cryptic note.

On Sunday, the Jaanu actress took to her verified social media handle and shared a selfie featuring herself flashing her million-dollar smile. While opting for minimum make-up, Samantha can be seen sporting a casual look in purple attire. Captioning the photo, she wrote, “The longest and the hardest six months it has been… Made it to the end.”

For the unversed, last year, the 36-year-old actress had announced that she has been diagnosed with an auto-immune condition called myositis last year in October. During the promotions for Yashoda, she had assured her fans that she is undergoing extensive treatment for the same.

Speaking of her upcoming projects, as mentioned above, she has two projects in her kitty, Kushi and Citadel India. While Kushi is a Telugu film, which also stars Vijay Deverakonda, Citadel India is Amazon Prime Video’s original web show. Samantha will be seen sharing the screen space with Varun Dhawan and the duo was recently shooting for the same in Serbia.
