Samantha Ruth Prabhu cannot stop praising Kaathal - The Core; calls Mammootty ‘her hero’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is currently enjoying her break and vacationing across the world, managed to catch up on the recently released Malayalam film Kaathal - The Core. The actress, who enthralled her followers with her picturesque photos from her Bhutan trip, couldn’t stop gushing about the Mammootty, Jyothika starrer. Samantha was recently seen reviewing the film on social media wherein she was also fangirling over the Malayalam superstar.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to Instagram to share a story on the platform, reviewing the recently released Malayalam film Kaathal - The Core. The actress couldn’t stop praising it and even expressed her love for Malayalam superstar Mammootty. She wrote, “Movie of the year <3<3<3 Do yourself a favour and watch this beautiful yet powerful gem of a film. Mammootty Sir you are my hero. I will not be able to get over this performance for a long long time <3 Jyotika Love youuu <3 Jeo Baby Legendary (folding hands emoji)”. Just a few days ago, Dulquer Salmaan, son of Mammootty also caught up with the film and loved the performances as had posted about it on his social media handle saying, “Heart is full”.

 

 

The film has also received a lot of love from audiences for dealing with a sensitive subject of LGBTQ community and is even expected to have sparked some serious conversations on social media. Speaking of the plotline, the film features the story of a simple man named Matthew, who decides to the contest the elections of his village but his entire life turns topsy-turvy when his wife files a divorce on the grounds of him being a homosexual.

 

Kaathal - The Core is directed by Jeo Baby and it also features Sudhi Kozhikode, Joji John, Muthumani, Chinnu Chandni, among others in supporting roles. The film released on November 23.
