Thalapathy Vijay starrer Master to release directly on OTT?

Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film Master was initially supposed to release on April 9, 2020. But owing to the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, the release of the film has been pushed indefinitely.

Recently, actor Arjun Das went live on his Instagram handle and spoke about the trailer of Master and whether the film will release directly on OTT. Talking about the trailer of the film, Arjun said, "I watched the trailer almost 6 times and the trailer is amazing. I think the trailer will release once the release date is confirmed. I can say only one thing that whenever the trailer releases it will be worth the wait. Just wait for some more time, I am sure the producer will release the trailer whenever it's the right time, it will be worth the wait and trust me there is one dialogue by Vijay Sethupathi that will go crazy.” 

 

With several movies releasing directly to OTT, Arjun also responded to fans asking about the fate of Master. “Morning 4 am, 5 shows we have to watch. It will release in the theatres and then on OTT. I have to watch the 4 am or 5 am show. Watching the show with the audience is an experience by itself. In my personal opinion, no chance, it has to be in the theatres. I am hoping it will release in the theatres. Once things settle down, the lockdown is done and everyone is safe, I hope all of us are happy healthy and all of us can go as one family and watch the film,” Arjun said.  

 

 

Master directed by Lokesh Kangaraj also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan and Andrea Jeremiah.
