Trisha Krishnan teases fans with BTS photos of her ‘special Matta song’ with Thalapathy Vijay in GOAT

Recreating their iconic chemistry from their 2004 film Ghilli which released twenty years ago, the popular South superstars Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan came together to create another groovy dance track. The two actors who were a part of the globally acclaimed ‘Apdi Podu’ reunited for the Matta song which is a part of the recently released GOAT (Greatest Of All Time). While fans were thrilled to see them together on the big screen, Trisha has teased them by sharing a few BTS moments from the track.

Trisha Krishnan took to her Instagram story to repost several BTS moments which were posted on the social media platform by her as well as the film’s team. From posing with her team to a couple of Get-Ready-With-Me pictures including some dance moments from the big screen, the actress reposted these on her story further adding to the excitement of fans. Many of her team members also expressed happiness over seeing Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan reunite on the screen and thanked the makers for providing them with the opportunity of working on it.

 

 

 

For the unversed, the Matta song features Trisha Krishnan in a yellow saree and shares ‘Apdi Podu’ vibes which has made several fans nostalgic. With music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with vocals by the musician himself along with Shenbagaraj, Velu, Sam, and Narayanan Ravishankar.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Although Trisha Krishnan is not playing the leading lady in GOAT (Greatest of All Time), the actress recently paired up with Thalapathy Vijay in his last blockbuster Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, in which she essayed the role of his wife. Meanwhile, speaking of GOAT, a lot of expectations are riding high on the film which also stars Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, among many others. The film released in theatres on September 5.
