Vijay Deverakonda makes a comeback on social media with “big dreams”; shares a thoughtful post

South sensation Vijay Deverakonda had recently taken a brief break from social media. However, the actor is now back on Instagram. On Sunday, he took to the photo-video sharing platform and dropped a multiple-picture post on his feed. Sporting a black tracksuit by Palm Angels, this sartorial choice of the actor has left many of his fans in awe of him. He paired a leather jacket and matching pants with a white round-neck shirt. To complete his look, styled by Harmann Kaur, he opted for black boots. He can be seen posing with a hearty smile.

Instagramming the photos, the Geetha Govindam actor wrote a short caption, which read, “Still a boy.” He further added, “With Big Dreams, wanting to accomplish everything under the sun and continue to be himself!” The photo post has managed to bag over a million likes and is still counting. While many fans called him “handsome”, a section of them flooded the comments section with red hearts and fire emoticons.

 

 

 

Coming to his professional front, the 33-year-old actor was last seen as a mixed martial arts fighter in Puri Jagannadh’s Liger, which was also his debut in Bollywood. Though the film had created a lot of buzz before its release, it performed poorly at the box office. Actress Ananya Pandey played the leading lady opposite Deverakonda.

 

Vijay has a bunch of films in his kitty including his second on-screen collaboration with actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The duo will be seen romancing in the upcoming film, titled Kushi. The ensemble cast of the film will also star Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, and Saranya among others.

 

Directed by Shiva Nirvana, it will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada theatres. Earlier, the film was slated to release in December this year. However, the release was pushed to next year due to a “bunch of reasons”.
