Initially, AAKROSH was slated for release on 1st October. However, when ANJAANA ANJAANI decided to shift to 1st October, the producers of AAKROSH decided to shift the film to 8th October, so that a clash can be averted between two biggies. However, the latest development is that AAKROSH has been shifted again, to 15th October now. According to producer Kumar Mangat, he didn't want to release in the same week as CROOK. "Emraan [Hashmi] is acting in my film DIL TO BACCHA HAI JI, so we thought why release AAKROSH in the same week? 15th October suits us fine. It's final," Kumar Mangat reveals.
