After counseling him on the ethical incorrectness of the new job he has taken on, Anupam's words of advice to the beleaguered new FTII chairperson Gajendra Chauhan: "Aap bass chup ho jaye" reverberated across the social network

Even Arnab Goswami seemed impressed.

Says Anupam, "I didn't mean to insult Gajendra Chauhan. And I don't think it came across as insult when I advised him to keep quiet. I just feel he needs to step back from the heat, to take it easy. He is under attack for a mistake he didn't make (the appointment as the chairperson of the FTII)."

Anupam's suggestion to Chauhan, 'Aap bass chup ho jayen' is trending on the social media.

Says Anupam, "Even Arnab Goswami sent a message in appreciation. I am happy that I could put my point across without shouting or abusing. I am not against Mr. Chauhan. I hope he knows that."
