Yet another cricketer has been enticed by studios and arc lights! After Salim Durrani, Sandeep Patil and Salil Ankola, its now the turn of Ajay Jadeja to don the greasepaint and run around trees!
By the time youd be reading this, Ajay mustve already faced the camera with Sunil Shetty for producer Pammi Sandhus new project, to be directed by well-known editor Yusuf Khan (Munna). The film was launched on April 26 at 11.30 a.m. at Subhash Ghais Audeus Studios.
Actually, it was Sunil who spoke to Jadeja about the project and fixed an appointment for the director to narrate the story of the film, in the cricketers house in Delhi. The role demands a happy-go-lucky guy and Jadeja suits it to the T, Yusuf justifies his decision and adds, He was sceptical initially, but when he heard that his role was challenging, he agreed instantly. The leading lady? The producers have discussed the dates and money with her business manager, but since this mast actress is out of town, her name will be announced once she signs on the dotted line. Nadeem-Shravan will score the music.
