Akshay Kumar may be busy with the release of his upcoming film Special 26, however the mega star has worked out time to lock in his next with Karan Johar. If memory serves Akshay had once said, that the reason he has not worked with Karan, is because the filmmaker does not find him competent enough, however now Karan has agreed to co-produce a film with him in the lead.
The yet untitled project will be directed by Punit Malhotra and will feature two heros and a leading lady. Though Akshay will play one of the male leads the other is yet to be finalized along with the leading lady. While the film will revolve around two men fighting for justice and will be shot mainly in Mumbai, for which the script is already ready.
Scheduled to go on floors early next year once Punit finishes with Gori Tere Pyar Mein, it will be jointly produced by Akshay's company Hari Om Productions and Dharma.
