Ali Fazal participates in drag race for Fast and Furious : Bollywood News

It's time for the likable actor Ali Fazal to go international. The new film in the Fast & Furious franchise is all set for an April 3 release worldwide, and Ali who plays a part in the film, would be sharing the promotional space with the film's cast Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, etc.

But before that there is 'furious' activity in India. On Sunday Ali participated in a 'drag race', a form of car racing where brakes are not applicable, at Amby Valley to promote the film.

Says Ali, "The Furious 7 producers Universal Studios had arranged the drag race as part of the film's promotion in India."

Ali was the sole representative of the film's vast cast. "Audiences in India won't be disappointed by the length of my role. I've enough footage to make my presence felt."

The young actor who started his career with an unbilled appearance in 3 Idiots is looking westward to expand his horizons. "I was offered a role in the series Homeland which I couldn't do because the dates clashed with my film with the Bhatts Khamoshiyan. But I wish I had done it. Look at how much notice the series got Nimrat Kaur."
