Ayushman Khurana has become an overnight sensation with his debut film Vicky Donor, post which the actor is being signed by some of the biggest filmmakers in Bollywood. Despite being busy with his film shoots, we now hear that the actor will take up a completely different responsibility for Shoojit Sircar's film Jaffna.
The news is that Ayushman will be assisting Sircar on Jaffna. Initially, Ayushman was planning to assist Sircar on the entire film, but now, due to his film commitments, he will work only for a part of the film. In fact Ayushman will assist the director during their shoot in the once-troubled city of Jaffna in Sri Lanka. It is anticipated to be the toughest part of shooting for the film.
Ayushman to assist Sircar in JaffnaJaffna, produced by John Abraham and directed Shoojit Sircar, depicts the LTTE's separatist conflict, with John playing an intelligence officer who lands in Jaffna under the utmost secrecy.
