After Emraan Hashmi suffered a major setback in his life when his son Ayaan was diagnosed with cancer, the actor has decided to lend a helping hand to all cancer victims. While Ayaan's treatment was successful, Emraan now wants to do his bit for the ones who are suffering from the ailment. The actor has decided to set up cancer detection camps at varied locations in Mumbai.
From what we hear, Emraan Hashmi has already started working towards the initiative and is also on a lookout for an NGO which will help him in this endeavor. These cancer detection camps will help make people aware about cancer and its treatment. It will also provide facilities for conducting tests to detect symptoms of the ailment in order to avoid further complications. Emraan Hashmi firmly believes that cancer can be prevented from turning into a life threatening disease if it is treated at the right time and hence, he decided to take this step.
This is not the first time where the actor has expressed his concern over the ailment. Emraan Hasmi had previously also mentioned about writing a book on coping with a loved one suffering from cancer.
