The choreographer-turned-director Remo D'Souza whose film F.A.L.T.U opened to a surprisingly receptive audience this Friday, suffered a serious burn injury on Saturday when a fire cracker burst in his right hand. He was rushed to the hospital immediately.
Speaking on Sunday about the injury the soft-spoken Remo whose celebrations have been put on hold by this setback said, "It is pretty serious. My right hand is burnt. I will have to get the hand dressed at the hospital every day for some time. Luckily no permanent damage was done."
Remo was in a double-celebration mood when this injury happened. "We were getting such encouraging box-office reports and it was also my birthday on Saturday. We were bursting crackers and I burst one in my right hand by mistake. I guess God decided to let me feel some pain with the pleasure. But it turned out to be quite painful."
