Fox Star Studios is all set with its 2010 Trade Show to bring the industry and it's stakeholders up to date with their slate of releases. An interactive session between Distributors, Sub-distributors and key exhibitors from various parts of the country, this summit is a big learning curve for the Industry majors.
Happening for the first time in India, Industry majors are travelling from all over the country to be part of this trade show and talking to the top brass of Fox Star Studios. In fact Sunder Kimatrai who is the Senior Vice President Asia Pacific, Fox Studios, is the key speaker and is specially flying down for this event.
Fox will be showcasing 75 years of their cinematic journey for the first time for those present and give an insight into their proud legacy. The distributors will be introduced to the upcoming films from the Studios. From the line up are films like Unstoppable, Wall Street, Gulliver's Travels, Danny Boyle's 127 Hours, X-Men: First Class, Rise of the Apes, Darkest Hour and The Chronicles of Narnia.
This would be followed by showcasing the success story they have made in Bollywood and that includes My Name Is Khan, also announcement of their forthcoming slate for Vipul Shah production's next untitled movie starring John Abraham directed by Nishikant Kamath; Rohan Sippy's Dum Maaro Dum and Aatish Kapadia's Khichdi slated to release on Oct 1.
Vijay Singh of Fox Star Studio explains the reason of this summit as he says, "At Fox Star Studios, we look upon our trade partners as important stakeholders. And the trade show is an important platform to share our key releases across Bollywood and Hollywood over the coming 6 months."
