Back in Feb 2013, we had reported that Aamir Khan had apparently been signed up by Godrej as their brand ambassador. Though at that time an official announcement was awaited, we finally have an official confirmation. In fact Aamir has been signed as the brand ambassador for various verticals of the diversified business house and will also launch an integrated product marketing campaign.
Explaining about the integrated product marketing at a press meet, Godrej Group Executive Director and Chief Brand Officer Tanya Dubash said, "The company has initiated an integrated campaign, 'Ideas that make life brighter', which is focused on enhancing the brand's emotive appeal by showcasing fresh ideas from within the Group to consumers".
While on the front of roping in Aamir, Group Strategic Marketing Head Shireesh Joshi said, "The new chapter of our brand journey aims to bring to light the culture of innovation that has been intrinsic to our group. With this new campaign and Aamir as our Group brand ambassador, we are certain that consumers will see the way we fulfill our brand promise of brighter living."
