While the entire extended clan of Anil’s family from wife and children to brother Sanjay Kapoor with wife Maheep along with distant relatives and close friends were present, Anil’s elder brother Boney Kapoor and the man who was prominently responsible for giving shape to Anil’s career initially, was nowhere to be seen at Anil’s birthday bash.”

Boney’s son Arjun Kapoor who is very close to Anil’s daughter Sonam joined his cousins in celebrating Anil’s 60^th birthday. Varun Dhawan was also at the bash along with his girlfriend.

Tongues set off wagging about a possible fall-out between the two brothers. However Anil puts all speculation to rest saying, “Aisa kuch bhi nahin hai. The only reason Boney couldn’t come to London for the party was because he had extremely important appointments back home, including one with A R Rahman. We Kapoors have always put work ahead of our personal lives.”
