MAA TUJHHE SALAAM, which was scheduled to release on December 14, has now been postponed and re-scheduled for January 25. "It's not as if we scared of K3G. We decided to re-schedule the release simply because we wanted to coincide with the Republic Day (January 26) celebrations," says producer Mahendra Dhariwal.
Dhariwal is in the process of planning a unique release strategy for the film, in keeping with its patriotic content and release timing. One of them is coming out with national flags and distributing them at traffic junctions and roads. "We want the film to be the talk of the town before the Republic Day celebrations. In fact, we are also considering the idea of having a special screening for officials in the ministry, including the Defence Ministry," he says.
