The censor-board office is moving. The CBFC’s Mumbai office is being shifted to the Film Division Building, G Deshmukh Marg, Peddar Road. And who better than Amitabh Bachchan to inaugurate the new office?

Says the censor chief Pahlaj Nihalani, “Mr Bachchan is the Shahenshah of the film industry, we couldn’t think of anyone more qualified to inaugurate our new office.”

Interestingly the function to be held at 4 pm on Tuesday 4 April will also be attended by Ajay Mittal, Secretary Ministry Of Information & Broadcasting.

Says Nihalani, “Bachchan Saab embodies all the qualities of our film industry. He is an individual representation of the entire Hindi cinema. And he is always ready to extend his name and support to every worthy cause of the entertainment industry. When we invited him to do the needful, he didn’t hesitate for a moment in saying yes.”

The function will also be attended by Bollywood’s A-listers like Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and Govinda.
