These days, we often see objections being raised against certain scenes or songs in upcoming films. The latest to be hit is the upcoming Sajid Nadiadwala's Housefull 2. Reportedly, the Maharashtra wing of the NGO, Bharatiya Bhrashtachar Nivaran Sanstha has raised objections against the item song, 'Anarkali Disco Chali... '
The reason behind this objection is that the NGO feels the line, 'Oye hoye chod chaad ke apne Saleem ki gali, Anarkali disco chali... ' from the song could have a negative impact on children as it spreads disinformation and distorts history. The Maharashtra President of the NGO, Sameer Rai, says that Saleem, according to the Indian history, is the son of Mughal emperor Akbar, while the song makes you wonder why Saleem stayed in a gali (passage) or why Anarkali (Saleem's love interest according to history) went to a disco.
To further his objection, Sameer plans to file a PIL against the song on Monday, once the court opens after a three-day break.
