Nishikant Kamat’s period film to be produced by Vikram Malhotra : Bollywood News

Nishikant Kamat, who has already joined the gang of 'A' list film makers with films like Force, and the recently released Ajay Devgn-Tabu starrer thriller Drishyam under his belt, has just wrapped up shooting for John Abraham - Shruti Haasan starrer thriller Rocky Handsome.

Meanwhile, he is now all set to roll with his next film, which is going to be a period one. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Nishikant Kamat said, "Yes, my next film is going to be a period film that's set in the 60s and 70s. It is a suspense thriller. Visually, if I could explain the film, it will 'look' like the cult Hollywood classic The Great Gasby. While the film is being written by Ritesh Shah, the film will be produced by Vikram Malhotra."

When asked about the cast, Nishikant Kamat was sweet enough to say that, "I am waiting for the script to be completed. Only then I will be approaching the stars. This time round, I will be looking at the younger lot of actors in the bracket of Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra or Ranveer Singh."
