A few weeks ago, this writer broke the news of producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala planning to make a sequel to his laugh-riot HERA PHERI, titled PHIR HERA PHERI. With director Priyadarshan getting busy with Venus' HULCHUL, the producer decided to entrust the directorial reins to Satish Kaushik.
Though Satish Kaushik has confirmed to direct the sequel, the rumour doing the rounds is that Priyadarshan has stepped into the project once again. That's not true, Nadiadwala clarifies, Satish is directing the film. The cast has also been finalized - Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Lara Dutta and Paresh Rawal. One more heroine should be finalized shortly.
While Nadiadwala is gearing up to release AAN on May 28/June 4 [he'll finalise the date shortly], he is also planning to start a film with director Prakash Jha, which will star the Big B in the central role.
