An over-enthusiastic portal had reported that Aamir Khan has decided to add 18 minutes footage to his 3.42-hour long LAGAAN. But thats not true!
We are planning to add the edited 18 minutes to the DVDs of the film, not the theatrical prints that are in circulation, LAGAAN director Ashutosh Gowariker tells me, adding in the same breath, We are neither trimming the film, nor increasing its length. We are not tampering with even a single frame of the film.
One just hopes that the portal, which specialises in desk jobs, would verify facts before concocting stories!
