Weve been updating you with film-related developments from across the border. A few weeks ago, MUGHAL-E-AZAM and TAJ MAHAL got the clearance from Pakistani authorities. While TAJ MAHAL is slated for release in April, the colored version of MUGHAL-E-AZAM will be released in Pakistan a month later, in May.
Now, one more film starring Indian actors has been cleared for exhibition by the Government of Pakistan. Its the Gurinder Chadha-directed Aishwarya Rai starrer BRIDE AND PREJUDICE, which also stars a host of Indian actors. Will the release of these three films in Pakistan boost the exhibition sector in the country, is to be seen.
