Kareena Kapoor has been all over promoting her upcoming film Heroine. While doing so, she commented that Heroine would be better than director Madhur Bhandarkar's National award winning film Fashion. Though it sounded harmless, the seemingly mundane statement looked more like a pot shot at Priyanka whose performance in Fashion had earned her a National Award.
On the other hand, on the recent NDTV show 'Your Call', Priyanka hit back at Kareena's comment with an equally jovial demeanor saying, "Well I guess if you don't have one (National Award) then, it's just sour grapes, you know. What do I say?"
Whether Heroine beats Fashion is yet to be seen but the game of snide remarks between the two actresses seems have just begun.
