Rishi Kapoor and his wife will be moving out of their family bungalow Krishna Raj in Pali Hill, Mumbai in the next few weeks.
They will now be staying in a place nearby owned by Neetu Singh. Son Ranbir Kapoor has already moved out of Krishna Raj.
Says Rishi a tad sadly, "We are moving out of our family home, at least for three years. That's the time it will take the bungalow to be renovated. The place we're going to is on Hill Road."
The Kapoors own 3 floors in the high-rise.
"The original plan was that we'd occupy one floor while Ranbir would occupy another in Neetu's place on Hill Road. That didn't happen. He has gone into his own place," says Rishi Kapoor.
Ask him if he misses his son in the house, and Rishi shrugs, "It's not as if Ranbir was hanging around the house all the time. Even when we lived together at Krishna Raj he had his own life. And he lived on a separate floor from us. We see him whenever we feel life. He was here for dinner on the evening that he completed the shooting of Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha."
