Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia, who created history with BOBBY and were teamed by Ramesh Sippy in SAAGAR subsequently, have been teamed yet again. The duo will head the cast of Percept Picture Company and Sahara's forthcoming venture YEH DIL NADAAN.
To be directed by Hriday Shetty [PLAN], the film will co-star Sammir Dattani [UFF KYA JAADOO MOHABBAT HAI] along with a leading actress. It's a family entertainer, Sunil Sahjwani, C.E.O. of Percept Picture Company, informs me. The film is expected to take off on October 15.
Meanwhile, Percept Picture Company has also signed Priyadarshan to direct their forthcoming venture HAI YEH PAISA. So far, only Paresh Rawal has been finalized for the project that should roll in December this year.
We [Percept Picture Company] plan to get into active film-making from 2005 onwards. In the first quarter of 2005 itself, we plan to have as many as six films on floors, Sahjwani divulges. The company is already planning fifteen projects currently.
