Vidya Balan is receiving a lot of positive response for the trailer of her upcoming film Begum Jaan. Playing another unconventional role, the actress will play a fierce madam of a brothel in her next. But, unlike her character, Vidya Balan is always very sweet and kind towards were fans. We had even shared some moments from her recent meet with her fan who had just turned100 years old.
SHOCKING: Vidya Balan lashed out at a man after he touched her inappropriatelyBut, due to some issues recently, Vidya Balan snapped at a fan who tried to inappropriately touch her while clicking a selfie with her. According to reports, Vidya was in Kolkata to promote the film. At the airport, she was with director Srijit Mukherji and producer when a fan approached her for a selfie and she agreed. Things got unpleasant for Vidya when the man put his arm around her without her consent. She asked to not do it but he refused to mend his ways. Then, her manager intervened to prevent the situation from getting out of control. But, the story did not end her. The man tried to take a picture with her for the second time and once again tried to put his arm around Vidya. She lost her cool and lashed out at him saying that this was wrong. When he continued following her for a selfie, she refused to take a picture and asked him to behave himself.
Later, when Vidya Balan was asked about this unpleasant incident, she said that when a stranger puts an arm around you, be it a man or a woman you get uncomfortable because they are intruding into your personal space. She said that actors are public figures, not public property.
Begum Jaan is slated to release on April 14, 2017
