After having enthralled the audiences with the extremely likeable Piku, filmmaker Shoojit Sircar and his partner Ronnie Lahiri, under the banner of Rising Sun Films, are now collaborating with Amitabh Bachchan for a social thriller. The said film will be directed by National award winner Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.
Speaking about the project, Amitabh Bachchan said, "Working with Shoojit & his team is always a pleasure. When I heard this story, I was drawn to it immediately. It's got a social message subtly weaved in an engaging story. Being a part of such important stories satisfies me."
