We all know that superstar Akshay Kumar, who just delivered a mega hit in the form of Baby is one busy man. Right after the release of this Neeraj Pandey thriller, Akshay has shifted focus to other upcoming films; however, the actor is now facing a little bit of date trouble.
Apparently, Akshay Kumar had allotted the dates in the month of February to the Prabhu Dheva directorial Singh Is Bling. But now, the same have been given to the Raja Menon directed evacuation drama Airlift. Reason - he was not happy with the script of Singh Is Bling and he wanted it to be fine-tuned. And after this recent development, Akshay has decided to allot dates in the month of April to Singh Is Bling (co-starring Kriti Sanon).
Speaking about the same, Singh Is Bling's producer Ashvini Yardi said that they were to start off early this year, but had to give away their dates so Akshay could complete his other film.
On the other hand, the shoot of Akshay's other film Airlift (that has Nimrat Kaur as his co-star) has got preponed by three months and will now go on the floor on February 21 in Bhuj. Speaking about Airlift, Nikhil Advani (one of the producers on the film) said that Airlift is an ambitious project which they will be mounting on a lavish scale. He added that they are ready to roll at a minute's notice even though the film is set in the 90's. He also added that their sets are ready and that they have the bulk dates of both Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur.
