Since many years, Showman of Bollywood- Subhash Ghai has been hosting a big bash on October 24 (anniversary of Mukta Arts) announcing new projects with much gusto. This year too, Ghai had planned a grand event to announce his next directorial venture Kaanchi along with a couple of other projects.
However, the celebrations were called off due to the sudden demise of Ghai's close friend, philosopher and guide- Yash Chopra. Yashji and Ghai shared a warm bond since many years and hence Ghai didn't feel like celebrating in this moment of grief.
Ghai even tweeted, "Since 24oct1978 i dont remember if YASH JI missed 2 grace any of my event .so HV 2 cancel tom BASH 2 celebrate 34th anniversary of MUKTA ARTS."
