The late Kishore Kumar started this trend of being an all rounder and 'his-story' continues. The latest to join the trend is Swanand Kirkire, who also happens to be the lyricist of the smash hit songs of films like Parineeta, 3 Idiots etc.
Reports have it that he is now all set to face the camera as an actor in the forthcoming Sonu Sood - Neha Dhupia starrer Maximum. The reports also stated that he has already started shooting with Sonu Sood for the film in a city college. While Sonu plays a cop in the film, Swanand plays the role of Bachi Singh, a small time gangster who doubles up as Sonu's informer, so much so that Sonu is totally reliable on him. Swanand Kirkire went on record to say that he is indeed doing the role and that he knows director Kabeer Kaushik for many years and that when he offered him the said role, he was more than happy to do the same.
Here's hoping a great career ahead as an actor (also) for the multi-talented Swanand Kirkire.
