Now here is some breaking news. There will be three episodes to Ketan Mehta's The Rising starring Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Amisha Patel. The film revolving around the life of freedom fighter Mangal Pandey, set against the backdrop of the 1857 mutiny, will have two follow-ups films of 100 minutes each. The first follow-up will focus on the last Moghul Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar while the second is woven around the queen of Jhansi - Rani Laxmi Bai. These films would be a continuation in showcasing the fight for Indian independence against the British government.
