Imtiaz Ali's film Rockstar has just released last week and while the film has opened to a mixed response, the filmmaker and the production house Shree Ashtavinayak find themselves embroiled in a new controversy.
The reason for this is the 'Junglee Jawaani' sequence in the film when Ranbir and Nargis watch a C-grade film in a seedy theatre 'Amar Talkies'. It may not seem like a big deal but Ashika Suryavanshi (the actress who stars in the C-grade film) was shocked when she saw herself on screen in a film that was described as semi-porn in Rockstar. Ashika is so taken aback that she has since decided to file a complaint against the makers of Rockstar for tarnishing her reputation.

The small time actress has decided to file a complaint with CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes Association) against Imtiaz Ali, Ashtavinayak and the producer of Jungle Love, Suresh Jain.
