From Deepika Padukone to Alia Bhatt, many have extended their support to the empowerment of women campaigns and the new celebrity to join the league is Vidya Balan. The actress, who is known for some bold roles in films like The Dirty Picture have always been very outspoken about the concept of women liberation.
After being the face of some film festivals, the actress will now be a part of a woman empowerment video. Though the details of the campaign are being kept under wraps, Vidya Balan revealed a few details about the video mentioning that she wants to break stereotypical images associated with women. It is the 'judging' mentality of people that Vidya wants to do away with. She states that the dress of a woman should not determine her character. From what we hear, the video will have many women wearing masks and dancing on the streets of Kolkata and whilst people start making assumptions, the women will slowly unmask themselves.
