Vipul Shah always believes in giving a chance to fresh new talents. Now we hear that Shah, who gave the multi-talented actor Deven Bhojani his first big role in television serial 'Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka', has now signed him to direct his first Bollywood film.
The talented actor Deven Bhojani who made waves with his classic performances on TV will now be seen directing a completely fresh romantic comedy for Shah. A source close to the team said, "Vipul Shah always believes in giving new talents a chance. Deven has already directed TV series 'Sarabhai V/s Sarabhai' which had become a rage amongst the audiences. And if we go by the records, many successful Bollywood directors like Imtiaz Ali, Anurag Basu, Anand Rai hail from the TV industry. In fact even Vipul who is giving Deven a break is from the TV industry. And we are very happy to have him on board to direct his very first film."
Confirming the development, Vipul tells us, "Yes I have signed on Deven, it will be a love story but as of now it's still too early to talk about the film. Currently, we are almost done with the script and will start meeting actors for the roles in the next few weeks."
