Vivek Oberoi, who refused to star in Sanjay Gupta's gangster flick Shootout At Wadala has gone ahead and signed Kumar Taurani's next, where in Vivek plays the lead role of a gangster. The film is set in Mumbai and will be shot across the city.
The yet untitled film will be directed by newcomer Vinnil Markan, who was the associate director of Prince. Crook actress Neha Sharma has been signed on opposite Vivek. Zakir Hussain will also star as another gangster and South actor Naseer will also be seen in a negative role.
When we contacted Kumar Taurani, he said, "Yes, I am making a film with Vivek Oberoi playing the lead role of a gangster. In the film he plays a fictional character which is not modeled on any gangster. The shooting of the film starts on March 24th."
