Actor Vivek Oberoi is one Bollywood actor who is making his best efforts to help the Tsunami struck coastal areas in South India. The actor expressed his desire to adopt a small village community of a population of around 4000, which was worst affected by the tidal waves. He plans to provide them with necessary items like blankets, clothes and plastic buckets. He also subsequently plans to restore their lives by getting their houses and boats repaired.
Vivek also participated in a prayer meet in the Cuddalore village with his father Suresh Oberoi and spiritual guru Swami Chidanand Saraswathi.
