The first day numbers of Anek, bringing together Anubhav Sinha and Ayushmann Khurrana, are surprisingly low as only Rs. 2.11 crores came in.
The film has a very good promo but somehow the intense narrative and serious subject couldn’t really pull in audiences in the first day. The film does boast of a class element by Anubhav Sinha with a good performance by Ayushmann Khurranna.
One just hopes that there is some sort of turnaround over the weekend so that the film is back on track.
