Batla House is continuing to be quite steady at the box office with weekdays holding up really well. After bringing in Rs. 2.08 crores on Tuesday, the film had just a marginal drop with Wednesday collections turning out to be Rs. 1.92 crores. Footfalls are staying on to be consistent, especially up North, and it can well be expected that Thursday collections too would be around Rs. 1.75 crores mark.
The film has collected Rs. 90.04 crores by now and should emerge as John Abraham’s biggest solo grosser by going past Satyamave Jayate today. This would be a very good feat as the milestone would be accomplished in 15 days flat.
For Nikkhil Advani, the film is already his biggest grosser till date as a director. Of course as a producer he has seen a much bigger success in the form of Airlift already. That said, one can be assured that he would be far more aggressive in months to come and would soon mount his next biggie as a director in quick time.
As for his Batla House, the film is a clean hit.
