Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office: Film fare well in week 5; ranks as seventh all-time highest fifth week grosser

The Kartik Aaryan-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which has been enjoying a stellar run at the box office has finally begun to see a slowdown in business. Currently, at the end of its fifth week at the box office the Anees Bazmee directorial has still managed to hold strong despite new releases hitting screens each week. Now at the close of its fifth week, the Bhushan Kumar – Murad Khetani production that also features Kiara Advani has managed to post rather good collection figures.

In this box office report, we look at the fifth week collections of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 while comparing the same to previous releases. Collecting Rs. 8.18 crore, the Kartik Aaryan starrer has emerged as the seventh all-time highest fifth week grosser. In fact, the business of the film surpasses the collections of previous releases like Kabir Singh which collected Rs. 8.10 crore, Badhaai Ho which collected Rs. 8 crore and Padmaavat which had collected Rs. 7.54 crore.

On the other hand, despite its stellar run at the box office, the business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 does not manage to surpass certain other releases like RRR that collected Rs. 12.15 crore, Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion which collected Rs. 11.78 crore, Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior which collected Rs. 10.41 crore, KGF - Chapter 2 which collected Rs. 10.25 crore, 3 Idiots which collected Rs. 9.56 crore, and Dangal which had collected Rs. 8.95 crore.

Going forward, the business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is not expected to see much growth. Given the fact that the film has now release on OTT as well as a new release in the form of Jugjugg Jeeyo hitting screens, the collections of the Kartik Aaryan starrer are expected to remain low. However, despite this trade claims that the business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which is pegged at Rs. 184.32 crore is likely to close the gap to the Rs. 200 crore mark in the coming days.
